All staff members and representatives of contracted services are encouraged to participate to 1) share information that may be useful for engaging current students, recruiting new students, and connecting alumni and friends with the college; 2) expand lines of communication and foster collaboration across divisions; and 3) offer opportunities for discussion and feedback on broader college issues.

Nelson Alexander, PhD, Senior Manager, Ventana Medical Systems, will speak on "The Future of Cancer Research Starts with a Blender: How Better Data Will Drive Better Therapies" The talk will start with a brief history of cancer research and oncology, describe the current status of "personalized therapy" and then share how Dr. Alexander's lab is disrupting the entire field with a blender.

|5:30 pm-7:30 pm||Women’s Leadership Dinner and Keynote with Anne Doepner from the Minnesota Vikings Thomas Commons|
Anne Doepner, Director of Football Administration with the Minnesota Vikings, will share insight on the lessons she’s learned throughout her career and provide practical tips for what it takes to become a female leader in an industry that is widely known to be male dominated. Although this is primarily a women’s event, anyone is welcome to attend. Attendees should go through line at Hilltop Café and report to Smith Dining Room prior to 5:30.
