Explore the world of professional sports management with the Berry Career Institute during block break 2. Site visits will include tours and time with professionals from the Minnesota Vikings (NFL), Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) and Timberwolves (NBA), Minnesota United Football Club (MLS) and the Major League Soccer National Sales Center. Students will also have an opportunity to network with Minneapolis alums! This program is open to all majors and class years. Students will leave on Wednesday and return on Friday evening. Wednesday Workshop is an art and science program that runs throughout the school year. Each event features a project or experiment that is geared toward elementary-aged children. Wednesday Workshops are held every other Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Room 108. There are only 20 slots available. Please call 895-4271 to reserve your spot. If you have reserved your spot but are unable to come please also call this number so another friend may participate. Join your colleagues for this fun, interactive social event to conclude Block 2: the first all faculty/staff Block Party and the debut of Cornell-themed picture bingo! Block Parties, which will occur a couple of times this year, will be casual celebrations for faculty and staff members to enjoy some light-hearted fun and fellowship together. Prizes, snacks, and drink tickets will be included! These events are a joint effort between Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Human Resources. Please wear your nametag.

Students! Looking for a FREE way to get off campus for a few hours? A $5 refundable deposit will get you a seat on a van to do just that. Wednesday, Oct. 1, a van will take you to Westdale Bowling Center and back. The cost of bowling and shoes is paid for by Student Senate. There you can bowl, eat, and play other games. Visit the info desk to sign up!
