The Daytime Book Discussion Group will meet Tuesday, Sept. 18, from 9:30-11 a.m. in Room 310 on the library’s third floor. The book they will discuss is "Andrew Jackson and the Miracle of New Orleans" by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger. The Civic Engagement Office will be coordinating transportation to the Cedar Rapids JFON Clinic, leaving Cornell around 5 p.m. and returning around 8:30-9 p.m. Iowa Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) is a nonprofit organization welcoming low-income immigrants of all faiths into churches and communities by providing free, high-quality immigration legal services, education, and advocacy.
