Cole Library will show "Sherlock Gnomes" on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 1:30 p.m. in Room 108 on the library’s first floor. We will provide popcorn and a drink for each person. This free program is a public library event and is not affiliated with the Mount Vernon School District. Families must call 895-4271 to reserve a seat. Mount Vernon Bank and Trust sponsors this program.

This event will feature three speakers: Wes Carrington (senior attorney, John Deere), Alvon Reed (dance artist in residence, Cornell College), and David Berger '19, in a round-table discussion format focused on the many benefits of transatlantic interaction in professional, study, artistic, and everyday settings. The event will open with a keynote lecture by Carrington on trade wars and German-U.S. relations in the Trump era. Delicious refreshments will be provided for enjoyment before, during, and after the event.

Pre-health students: come learn about the types of extracurricular experiences available to you, how to choose and reflect upon experiences that are meaningful to you, and what admissions committees will be looking for in these experiences. This session is mandatory for first-year pre-health students and students new to Dimensions. This session and the one tomorrow (Thursday, Sep 27) are identical - come to whichever is most convenient!
