Pre-health students: come learn about the types of extracurricular experiences available to you, how to choose and reflect upon experiences that are meaningful to you, and what admissions committees will be looking for in these experiences. This session is mandatory for first-year pre-health students and students new to Dimensions. This session and the one yesterday (Wednesday, Sep 26) are identical - come to whichever is most convenient!

In the first workshop of the Intercultural Life POWER Critical Leadership program, invited speaker Bryant K. Smith will lead students through an interactive, multimedia experience that seeks to address what it means to be a student activist and to confront areas of comfort and discomfort in one's identity. This session aims to give students the tools to strategically create a value-centered approach to social justice. This event is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

National Geographic Live! "Exploring Mars": NASA mechanical engineer Kobie Boykins* will be in Cedar Rapids Sept. 27 showcasing his experiences through lecture, video, and photographs in this one-hour presentation. Afterward, the audience is welcome to ask questions and meet Kobie in the lobby. Fill out the survey below if interested. Time: leaving Cornell's Thomas Commons at 6:45, show is at 7:30;
