Sleep deprivation is common among college students and has been associated with poor academic performance and physical dysfunction. This workshop includes discussion on the importance of sleep as it relates to academic performance and well-being.

Have you ever wondered how local laws and regulations are created? What the process is? Who is involved? Why not attend a Mt. Vernon City Council Meeting and find out! We will meet in Thomas Commons at 6 and head over to City Hall to observe. Meeting agendas will be posted on the web the Friday before the next scheduled council meeting and at the bulletin board at City Hall. Minutes will be posted to the web by Friday following the council meeting.
