A Stammtisch is a dining table around which friends join for fun and conversation. At Cornell, our Stammtisch meets in the dining hall (look for the blue German "Stammtisch" sign) every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon and offers you the chance to speak and listen to some German. All abilities are welcome! Come and enjoy!

Arrive early to sign in and grab mat, blanket, and 2 blocks from the Roe Howard Fitness Center. Cole Library will show "Secret Life of Pets 2" on Wednesday, October 23. The movie is at 1:30 p.m. in Room 108 on the library’s first floor. We will provide popcorn and a drink for each person. This free program is a public library event and is not affiliated with the Mount Vernon School District. We will need to have families call 895-4271 and reserve a seat. Mount Vernon Bank and Trust sponsors this program.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is November, but the Block 3 class starts before then! Join us in Thayer or Lindquist to help meet that word count! Meet us on Fridays in the Van Etten-Lacey House for Freewrite Fridays that go longer and have cinnamon rolls for additional motivation. Anyone participating in NaNoWriMo is encouraged and welcome to attend!

Join current Young Trustees to learn what it means to serve as a Young Trustee as a new alum of Cornell College. You will learn the requirements of the role, expectations, benefits, and how to apply. If you would like to stay involved and help to drive change at Cornell after you graduate you should attend this session.
3:30 pm-4:30 pmStudent Networking Practice Event Zamora's Market
Join the Berry Career Institute staff and other students to develop your networking skills in preparation for the alumni/student networking event to be held as part of Homecoming 2019. Students will learn best practices and common mistakes to avoid in an interactive, non-threatening setting. This event is required if you're planning to participate in the Cornell Connections event during Homecoming, which is a great environment for networking beginners to practice.
