Come and join us on the OC to discuss the most recent Dave Chappelle stand up special on Netflix and implications for internalized oppression. This event is open to all Cornell College and the local community to learn from each other's perspectives.

National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is November, but the Block 3 class starts before then! Join us in Thayer or Lindquist to help meet that word count! Meet us on Fridays in the Van Etten-Lacey House for Freewrite Fridays that go longer and have cinnamon rolls for additional motivation. Anyone participating in NaNoWriMo is encouraged and welcome to attend!

BETHANY C. MORROW is a recovering expat recently returning from six years in Montreal, Quebec, to live and write in northcountry New York. A California native, Bethany graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in sociology. Following undergrad, she studied Clinical Psychological Research at the University of Wales, Bangor, in Great Britain before returning to North America to focus on her literary work. She is the author of the adult novel "Mem" (Unnamed Press), which was an ABA Indies Introduce pick and an Indie Next selection, the editor of the young adult anthology "Take the Mic" (Arthur A. Levine Books), and author of the forthcoming YA novel, "A SONG BELOW WATER" (Tor Teen, 2020).
