Join the office of Academic Support and Advising for an opportunity to learn how to make better use of your planner. Stickers, colored pens, and other supplies will be available. Come ready to brainstorm and get creative!
11:15 am-11:55 amMeditation, Mindfulness, & Mind-Body-Spirit Allee Chapel
Opens with breath and energy centered embodied practices (i.e. tai-chi or qigong) followed by guided and silent seated meditation. Enfolds insights from integrative health care and spiritual wisdom from age-old Buddhist, Christian contemplative, yoga, Vedanta, and other traditions. Typically ends with loving kindness meditation and/or Himalayan singing bowl sound healing. Led by certified teacher and chaplain. All welcome.

Representatives from academic programs in the Social Sciences will be available at the tables on the main level of the Thomas Commons. Stop by to learn about majors, minors, and extracurricular opportunities in these academic areas: Economics and Business, Education, Environmental Studies, Kinesiology, International Relations, Politics, Psychology, and Sociology and Anthropology.

Drop by the Van Etten-Lacey House (408 3rd St SW) on Friday afternoons (Weeks 1-3, 3-6 p.m.) to write alongside others in a cozy, inspiring setting. Enjoy coffee, tea, and cinnamon rolls as you write from one of the provided prompts or work independently. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome.
