During WWII, the U.S. government rounded up over 5,000 Latin Americans of German, Japanese, and Italian descent and forcibly brought them to camps in Texas and elsewhere. There, hundreds were "traded" for Axis-held U.S. nationals. How was this possible? Could it happen again? Guest Lecturer: Historian and visiting German culture and language instructor Michael Luick-Thrams.
