The Daytime Book Discussion Group will meet Tuesday, May 21 from
9:30-11:00 a.m. in Room 310 on the library’s third floor. The book they will discuss is Happiness Is A Choice You Make: Lessons From A Year Among the Oldest Old by John Leland. If you would like to join in the discussion, call Sherene at 319-535-1105 or just come that morning. This event is free and open to the public.

Come build and play at Lego Club! Lego Club is held on Tuesdays, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in Room 108. This event is open free to the public.
|5:00 pm-6:30 pm||Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Hills Bank|
On Tuesday, May 21 from 5-6:30 p.m. we will officially kick off the summer reading program with a party at the Mount Vernon Hills Bank. The theme this year is A Universe of Stories. That evening we will play games, eat treats and get excited for summer reading. If you are unable to attend, you can still sign up at the library after May 21. This event is open free to the public.

Join us for Yarn Squad EVERY Tuesday, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in Cole Library Room 326. Knitters, crocheters, and all fiber enthusiasts are welcome.
Our current charity knit is The Preemie Project: The Infant Bereavement Program. There is a huge need for blankets.
