|11:00 am-12:00 pm||High School Book Group Cole Library|
Check out our teen book discussion groups! Currently, the group is divided into two sections – one for middle school and one for high school students. Each group meets once a month in the Browsing Room of the library September through May, and it is a great way for teens to connect through meaningful literature. The groups get together at the beginning of each school year to decide which books will be read, and members receive a copy of each title to keep. Both groups are generously sponsored by Hills Bank and Trust.
|2:00 pm||Volleyball at Saint Mary's Cedar Rapids|

|7:00 pm||Bahamas Relief Benefit Zamora's Market|
The Cornell intercultural community is extremely saddened by the lost of lives, homes destroyed, and damaged landscapes. We will be hosting an event with live DJ and food to raise funds for relief efforts. We will be accepting clothing, feminine products, baby products, non-perishables, and monetary donations. Any and all donations are welcomed. Please come and support this relief to help get The Bahamas back on their feet. The three organizations we will be sending the funds to are: The Red Cross, Direct Relief and HeadKnowled Bahamas. They all have been vetted. We extend this invitation to all the campus and to all the residents of Mount Vernon.
|7:30 pm||Marry Me A Little Armstrong Hall|
Music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim
Directed by Scott Bradley
A charming and bittersweet musical revue that features songs by Stephen Sondheim, the undisputed master of the contemporary Broadway musical. Urban singles share a Saturday night of sweet fantasies and deep yearning while never leaving the confines of their solitary apartments. Together, they breathe new theatrical life and meaning into a collection of trunk songs that were culled from the final productions of Anyone Can Whistle, Follies, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and A Little Night Music.
