Stop by to visit Julia LoPresi, representative from SEA Semester: Environmental Studies in Woods Hole & at Sea. SEA Semester is a study abroad program combining the interdisciplinary study of the world’s oceans with tall ship sailing, providing a unique opportunity for hands-on environmental research and personal growth. They offer several semester and summer voyages in both the Atlantic and the Pacific, each covering different topics related to ocean environment. All programs carry credit through Boston University. Acclaimed Celtic fingerstyle guitarist Jerry Barlow returns to Heritage Hall, above the Lisbon Public Library, to perform a concert on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. A virtuoso musician and world-class storyteller, Jerry brings a repertoire composed of a synthesis of traditional music from the British Isles and his own original Celtic-inspired compositions. This joint program is free and open to all.
