Join us as we commemorate the courage, love, and healing wisdom of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and other Civil Rights Movement heroes. Vigil begins in Thomas Commons lobby, briefly sojourns to the MLK Memorial tree then into Allee Chapel for our naming and lighting candles for people past and present who have taught us courage, inclusive love, and the power of being instruments of healing peace.
~ A brief, optional Peace Eucharist (inclusive Communion) follows with MLK theology related scripture on love and social justice.

This month, PodClub is listening to the podcast "Something True," bringing incredible and bizarre true stories from the footnotes of history. A dog in the United States Cabinet? A leading rocket scientist who quit his job to make a moonchild? They're all true. PodClub members should listen to all episodes from the first two seasons. This podcast contains adult language and content and listener discretion is advised. This event is free and open to the public.
