Join the Student Theatre Council as we premiere a brand new student made short film! With a rock n'roll score and a gothic aesthetic, this film is perfect to get into the Halloween spirit!
11:55 pmLunch Buddies Applications Due Virtual
This school year has posed a number of challenges and changes to the Lunch Buddies program. In previous years, we paired Cornell students with the third graders at Washington Elementary. Then, three times a block, each Cornell mentor would go to the elementary school to play with their buddy at recess and sit with them at lunch. Unfortunately, we won't be able to visit our buddies at the school this year to reduce contact for both the elementary school and campus. As a temporary alternative, though, we will be having a pen pal program! Cornell students will still be paired with a third grader, but instead of joining them for lunch, we will write letters back and forth with them. There will be mailboxes located in the Civic Engagement Office where you will drop off your outgoing letters by 12:00pm on the first and third Wednesday of the block. Letters from your buddy will be delivered to your box in the mail center on the second and fourth Thursday of each block. Each block, we also plan to have a zoom event with our buddies, which may include grab and go craft packages, watch parties, and zoom games! If you would like to participate in the Lunch Buddies pen pal program, please fill out the following application:
