4:00 pmRacial Justice Solidarity Vigil - 4pm gathering Allee Chapel Lawn
This is a peaceful, respectful "It Starts with Me" racial justice solidarity vigil.  This vigil enfolds words by BACO and Union Latinx student leaders, Lyrically Inclined, and others. Also prayer, candlelighting, reading from some of the countless names of victims impacted by systemic racism in this country, and an interactive healing prayer ribbon ceremony for individuals' various sorrows and losses, yet also gratitudes for what is feeding your courage and hope. 50 Cornell person limit at each event for safe social distancing.   Zoom participation option for remote learners (for a secure link go to crnl.co/healing&peace).  ~Organized by BACO, Union Latinx & Chaplain in conjunction with these co-sponsors: Lyrically Inclined, Intercultural Life, & ICL orgs, Civic Engagement, Spiritual Life's Soul Friends & Better Together Interfaith Allies, Cornell Well-being Network, as well as ANT/SOC & GSS.
