Jan 24 for this popular annual Block Break spirituality retreat (W-F Feb. 5-7) at New Melleray Abbey, a nationally known Trappist monastery nestled in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa near Dubuque. Savor awe-filled silence, monks chanting the psalms, age-old monastic wisdom and culture, downtime we rarely have together as Cornell students, faculty, and staff, and plenty of personal time to reflect, pray, meditate, and engage in spiritual reading and writing.
