Join the fine arts faculty and the Office of Academic Affairs at Kimmel Theatre's Berry Lobby from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, to celebrate the career of longtime Academic Program Assistant Cathy Schonhorst. Cathy will retire April 9 after nearly 40 years of service to the fine arts at Cornell.

Ben Miller '86, an essayist and fiction writer, reads selections from his collaborations with artist Dale Williams. Miller’s work has been published in many journals, including the Kenyon Review, the Antioch Review, the Yale Review, Raritan, and One Story. In addition, his writing has been anthologized in the “Best American Essays” series and the textbook “An Introduction to the Prose Poem.” He published a memoir in 2013, “The Junkification of a Boyhood Idyll amid the Curious Glory of Urban Iowa.” Over his career Miller has received several fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard.
